The 12th and last EPOS Board of Governmental Representatives meeting and the 1stEPOS-ERIC General Assembly meeting will take place in Rome (Italy) at the Hotel Forum respectively on November the 6th and the 8th, 2018.
By November 2018 the EPOS European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) will be operational and thus the EPOS legal entity. A General Assembly (GA) of members will be the organization’s governing body. The current Board of Governmental Representatives (BGR) will transform into the GA. An Executive Director, supported by its Coordination Office (ECO), will be directly responsible to the GA for all aspects of the EPOS activities.
The EPOS Board of Governmental Representatives (BGR) meeting agenda includes discussions and approval of the outcomes of the service validation as well as the design of the testing and pre-operational phase planned for the last year of the EPOS IP project. The approaches to validate and integrate new services in the EPOS delivery framework will be also discussed during the meeting. The BGR will likely provide recommendations to the General Assembly concerning the planning of the EPOS ERIC Interim Phase necessary to enter in the full operational phase.
